Another issue is shipping costs, which are startlingly inaccurate when you order something. They do not include the cost of the shipping container (about $6.00 for a 12 pack) or insurance (a good idea) or the 'Adult Signature Required' notice I must put on any wine shipment (about $3.00). Expect shipping to be higher. UPS is now delivering to about 30 States (see below), which is great, but their price has gone up (not so great). The other States I can still ship through Aero, but at a higher fee. Always check with me about this.

Saintsbury
As a number of you know, my brother-in-law is David Graves, of Saintsbury winery. Recently, there was a dreadful fire (apparently a case of arson) at a warehouse on Mare Island. Many wineries lost part, or all, of their inventory; Saintsbury lost their entire history. That is, all wines before 2000, including large format and individual vineyard bottlings. It occurred to me to let you know of this just in case you might have any of Saintsbury's older wines. If so, and if you might be willing to trade them for newer wines, I know that Saintsbury would be grateful. Good storage, of course, is a must. Please contact me if you can help.
